The Old Stocks Hotel is situated in the Market Square and fronts onto the
village green where the original 17th Century Penal stocks still stand.
The Hotel offers a unique combination of 'old and new' - still there are
old oak beams and exposed Cotswold stone walls and an open fire in the bar,
but ever mindful of the modern day traveller, each of our eighteen bedrooms
has bathrooms en-suite, refreshment tray, radio, direct dial telephone, and
colour television. There is a comfortable residents lounge, large patio garden,
fully licensed Bar and a Restaurant which offers extensive menus to suit all tastes.
Stow-on-the-wold, meaning 'a meeting place on the hill' is an ideal centre for
touring the Cotswolds. It continues to be a popular base for visitors wishing
to explore an area which is undoubtedly one of the most scenic and
picturesque regions of English countryside.

Single Occupancy Mid Week Specials
Those who travel alone or with friends and require their own doubleroom are notoriously penalized. From April to October we are offeringsingles the luxury of a double room from Sunday to Thursday at a cost of from £56 per night for one or two nights for bed and full English breakfast or a total of £150 for a three night stay. If you would like to include a daily £20 dinner allowance, the total cost would be £200 for a three night stay. Our current menus can be viewed on the website.
Discounted singles rates are available from November to March.

Our Patio Garden rooms (an annex of three en-suite standard double rooms
located next to our three terraced patio garden) are most suitable!
(It is expected that dogs will respect their surroundings and help
to keep the room clean and tidy!)
